Safe Communities
Safety and compassion belong in the same plan.
Every resident deserves to feel safe. That requires reliable emergency services, prevention, effective crisis response, and stronger trust between neighborhoods and public institutions.
This is a working campaign direction that will continue to develop through community conversations.
What this means
- Support fully staffed police, fire, and EMS
- Strengthen crisis response and mental-health co-response
- Invest in violence prevention and youth mentorship
- Build neighborhood partnerships around practical safety needs
