April’s working priorities
Attainable Housing
Affordable is a label. Attainable is the goal.
Housing policy should be measured by whether working families, seniors, first-time buyers, and longtime residents can realistically find and remain in a home that works for them.
This is a working campaign direction that will continue to develop through community conversations.
What this means
- Grow housing supply across income levels
- Create practical paths to attainable homeownership
- Help longtime residents remain in their neighborhoods
- Pair thoughtful development with clear measures of affordability and access
